Afterburner2 is an experiment in how streamlined a Gantry Template can be, whilst still being visually enticing and usable. Although many extras have been removed, styling for major elements, such as the Joomla core, is still abundant. Performance data below.
The template is outfitted with a simple CSS menu, based on the Dropdown Menu. It offers basic dropdown functional for multiple tiers and configurable dropdown widths. Additional features can be added by transplanting from another template.
The responsive grid system is designed for desktops, tablets and mobiles, each with minor modifications to ensure compatibility in each. Twitters Bootstrap Framework is used to provide a great degree of flexibility for a responsive design.
